You will be sat outside, in the UK and so it will be cold. Please dress for the weather - thermals, hats, coats and thick socks a must. 

This is not the event for a LBD or high heels! There will be a short walk through our beautiful woodland area to your table.

Feel free to bring blankets, hot water bottles, the lot!

We'll get wet! After all, it is the UK! 

We will still be open unless the weather conditions become dangerous ie thunder and lightening /gale force winds (this is not very compatible with trees!).


We have two main seating areas. 

There is a small open sided but undercover option (so still dress accordingly) and our fully outside  (& therefore open to the elements) fire pit area.  


We are able to bring people inside in the event of severe weather conditions.

We do sometimes sell out before the evening and therefore have no availability on the night, so we prefer to take all bookings in advance.  It is worth giving us a call to see if we can fit you in though - even on the night.

If the system shows as being sold out, give us a call on 01335 360485 or drop us a line at pubinthewoods@wildparkderbyshire.com and we can check  for any last minute availability.

Over 18s only on 'normal nights' please.


(Under 18s sessions will be clearly marked).


Please note that there is no play area or specific child friendly area and there are many hazards on site - open fires, open deep water etc. Please consider this when booking with young children. ).


If you are lucky to appear under 25, please ensure you have ID with you as we will need to verify your age before serving you with alcohol.

We are quite rural and some taxis aren't keen on coming out this far. We recommend pre-booking a taxi. We will be closing at 11pm sharp.

 As a small business we get charged for every card transaction, but we retain 100% of cash payments, therefore cash is our preferred method of payment but we do accept card payments.

No! Please don't wee in our woods! 

We have proper ladies' and gents' flushing toilets, that are even heated, so don't worry.

The price is for a table of up to 6 guests, but  you can book for less than 6 - your choice!

Please note that our cabana tables are for a minimum group size of 6.

If you need to cancel your booking:

 

  • More than one week before your booking date - we will refund you 100% of what you paid minus a £5 admin fee.
  • Less than a week, but more than 48 hours before your booking  - we will refund you 50% of your table price minus a £5 admin fee. You will not be refunded for any food payments.
  • Within 48 hours of your booking - unfortunately any payments would be non-refundable.

Subject to availability, you can transfer your booking to a different date as long as we have a minimum of 48 hours notice.  You will still be subject to a £5 admin fee in this instance.

If you do have a reduction in numbers after booking, please let us know. We have a restriction on the amount of people allowed on site, so once we have reached capacity based on guest numbers, the system will stop. Thank you for your assistance with this.

 We have a hardstanding car park next to our woodland area. Our car park attendant will help direct you as to where to park, and you are welcome to leave vehicles overnight (in designated areas).

Unfortunately you cannot stay in a vehicle in the car park overnight though.

I'm afraid that, for reasons of security and health and safety, we aren't able to accommodate people on site overnight. 

You are very welcome to leave vehicles on site overnight however.
